Compare costs and plans — mutual fund guide

Understand the mandate. Compare the evidence. Keep dates and costs visible.

ORIGINAL FINANCIAL EDUCATION

Keep the cost definition, reporting period and plan visible.

Compare the same plan and option and check the effective date of each expense disclosure. Do not mix a base expense component with the full total expense ratio.

Read the current scheme cost breakdown, distribution terms and exit conditions. Direct and regular plans can have different cost structures; a cost comparison alone is not a fund recommendation.

A published NAV reflects scheme-level valuation and expenses under the applicable rules. Personal taxes, exit charges and transaction circumstances can still affect an investor’s outcome.
